We did have the graduation for the School of Ministry and Worship for the class of 2023 on Saturday (see picture). What an amazing day! I’ve been praying for the students this week as they adjust back to their regular life. That they would continue to stand firm in all that they do. I was so happy to see some of the students at service on Wednesday night, that made my heart happy.

This last week we’ve been debriefing about the school year. How how it went, how we could do it better, and we started planning for the next year, which will be starting in August. We’re looking at doing a round of interviews in late June. We plan to go to some different locations in Uganda to interview people in that area. Please pray for us that we would have wisdom and discernment and God’s provision to take these trips and interview students face-to-face.

I also spoke with Anne this week, she says hello, and we finalized the Women’s Bible school. I just talked through with her how to finalize that school in Waibale. It looks like it’s going to be November when those women will be graduating. This is super exciting, Ann’s been teaching that school for a couple years.

Now that the students are not here, and I don’t have lessons all afternoon, I’ve started to join the ladies to work out everyday at 3:00. Hence my disheveled manor, I apologize. It’s been good to get out there and exercise with other people again instead of just doing it on my own.

I am ready for a break now. That’s going to happen next week. I’m going to take a couple days off and sneak away to take some down time. It will be good to rest and restore. We’ve been studying restoring or filling our energy tanks. So that’s what we’re going to do, go fill our tanks back up.

The last thing is there’s a care team meeting Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time. If you haven’t received the invitation for that please let me know and I’ll get you added to the email list.
